How to Set Server Priority in NewsLeecher for Newshosting

Adjusting Server Priority in NewsLeecher

When using multiple servers in NewsLeecher, setting priority levels helps determine the order in which servers are accessed. Newshosting customers may use additional servers for fill-ins or backups, making priority adjustments a valuable tool.

Open the Manager Tab

Launch NewsLeecher and click the Manager tab. This is where all server configuration takes place.

Edit the Newshosting Server

Right-click the Newshosting server in the list and select Edit Server from the context menu.

Enable Advanced Settings

Check the box next to Show Advanced Settings to reveal more configuration options.

Set the Download Priority Level

Use the dropdown menu labeled Download Priority to assign a value. Lower numbers indicate higher priority. For example, a server with priority 1 will be accessed before a server with priority 2.

Save Changes

Click the Apply or OK button to save your updated server priority settings.

Restart NewsLeecher

Close and reopen NewsLeecher to apply the updated settings fully.
