Managing NZBGet Storage and Repair Settings

Moving Your Target Directory in NZBGet

To shift storage to another drive:

  1. Open the Web interface (localhost:6789).

  2. Visit Settings > PATHS.

  3. Enter your preferred destination in DestDir.

  4. Adjust related directories such as InterDir and QueueDir to match.

  5. Save and restart NZBGet.

Verify access rights for the new location to prevent interruptions.

Locating Saved Articles

Use the History tab or check Messages to trace where articles were stored. Common paths are listed in DestDir. For clarity, confirm this under Settings > PATHS.

Repair Process Not Advancing?

If NZBGet freezes during repair:

  • Pause the queue.

  • Review logs under Messages.

  • Restart NZBGet if it appears unresponsive.

  • Re-import the NZB from your Indexer or manually repair with external tools.

  • Confirm available system memory.
