Adjusting Server Priority in NZBGet for Better Performance

NZBGet allows you to configure multiple Usenet servers and assign them different priorities. Changing the server priority helps direct traffic efficiently between providers based on reliability, speed, and article retention.

Steps to Change Server Priority in NZBGet

  1. Access Settings

    • Launch NZBGet and select Settings from the main menu.

  2. Navigate to Server List

    • In the left-hand panel, go to Settings > NEWS-SERVERS.

  3. Select the Server

    • Click on the server you want to reprioritize. Each configured server will have a name label.

  4. Edit Level

    • In the Level field, assign a new numeric value. Lower numbers represent higher priority. For example, 0 has the highest priority, followed by 1, 2, and so on.

  5. Save Changes

    • Scroll to the bottom and click Save all changes.

  6. Restart NZBGet

    • For changes to take effect, restart NZBGet from the top menu.
